Disc Golf Tip Reading the Wind
And important skill to master, if you really want to excel at disc golf, is learning to read the wind.
A lot of disc golfers struggle with this, including Dave Himself.
The most important thing to do is figure out which direction the wind is going. A simple way to read the wind is to pick up some grass, or a leaf, and drop them to determine which direction the wind is going.
The tricky thing is that wind is almost never coming from only one angle. Nine out of ten times it is coming from two different angles.
The release angle of your disc in the wind is every bit as important as the disc you are using. What you need to understand is how to compensate your throw to factor for the changing conditions that result from the wind.
